UHTLD geogrid (Ultra high tensile strength and tenacity)

In roadbed, slope protection, and retaining wall engineering, fiberglass geogrids, polyester grids, or PP geogrids are usually used as reinforcement and stabilization materials. Fiberglass gepgrids are easily broken by aggregate material during the construction process, even though they have tensile strength . Although polyester geogrids or PP geogrids can meet the requirements, their excessive elongation cannot fully solve the impact of uneven settlement of the foundation on, which cause cracks or deformations on the road surface.

UHTLD geogrid has ultra high tensile strength, low deformation, high shear resistance performance and light weight. It's specific tensile strength is 4 times that of polyester. For geogrids with the same strength, the weight of UHTLD geogrid is one-tenth that of PP geogrid, one-fifth that of fiberglass geogrids, and one-third that of polyester geogrids. Light weight help to reduce construction intensity and cost.


UHTLD geogrid offers high tensile strength in conjunction with extra-high resistance to chemicals, ultra low temperature resistance in the soil. At the same time, UHTLD geogrid has low deformation, similar to that of fiberglass geogrids.

 

UHTLD geogrids can completely solve the reflective crack caused by the roadbed or foundation deformation. UHT geogrid is an excellent material for reinforcing and stabilizing foundations, slope protection, and retaining walls.
